The objective of this organization is to promote the social and general welfare of members and their families.
Active membership is open to any employee and any spouse or Widow/Widower of an employee, honorably retired from the County of Los Angeles Fire Department, upon payment of annual dues.
Annual dues are $15 (Fifteen dollars) per member family.
New retiree dues are free for the first year beginning July 1st of that year. $15 (Fifteen dollars) per year thereafter.
Membership includes four quarterly newsletters of Broken Streams which contain articles sent in by fellow retired members, along with other useful information.

Since 2022 … we’ve found we can reach a larger audience, with greater attendance, from a wider geographic area by using ZOOM VIDEO CONFERENCING. (click for more info)
Any & All Meetings will be announced on this website and within Broken Streams 90 days prior to the meeting.
Zoom Meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of January, April and October of each year at 10:00 am. Check Broken streams for meeting info or Contact Us for further information for the Zoom meeting.
Physical General Membership Meeting: When we announce that there will be a Physical General Membership Meeting, it will be held at the F & A Federal Credit Union at 10:00 a.m. and located at:
